Affiliate Program
Affiliate Terms
These terms govern participation in the Bookwiz affiliate program. By joining, you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@bookwiz.io.
1. Eligibility
Any Bookwiz account holder may apply to join the affiliate program. We may decline, suspend, or remove any affiliate at our discretion — for example, for any breach of these terms. You are responsible for everything done under your affiliate link and code.
2. Commissions
You earn 30% of each successful subscription payment (net of tax) made by a customer you refer, for the first 12 months from that customer’s first paid invoice. After 12 months, that customer’s subscription no longer generates commission. Commissions apply to recurring subscription payments only — not one-time purchases, taxes, or amounts waived by a discount or credit.
3. Attribution
Referrals are first-touch: the first affiliate associated with a customer is credited. Attribution relies on the customer reaching Bookwiz through your link and is recorded when they create an account. We do not guarantee attribution where a customer blocks cookies and local storage, uses a different device or browser without your link, or signs up through another channel first.
4. Payments & holdback
Commissions are held for 45 days after the underlying payment before they become payable, to account for refunds and disputes. Payouts are made manually once your available balance reaches the $50 minimum. You are responsible for providing valid payout details and for all taxes on amounts you receive; we may require tax documentation before paying you.
5. Refunds, chargebacks & reversals
If a referred payment is refunded, charged back, or disputed, the related commission is reversed. If a commission was already paid out before a reversal, the amount may be deducted from future payouts or reclaimed.
6. Prohibited promotion
To keep the program trustworthy, the following are not allowed and will void commissions and may result in removal:
- Bidding on “Bookwiz” or our brand/misspellings in paid search, or running ads that impersonate Bookwiz.
- Listing unauthorized coupon, deal, or discount codes, or claiming to offer discounts we have not published.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, or any attempt to set attribution without a genuine click.
- Spam (email, SMS, comments, DMs) or any unsolicited or deceptive promotion.
- Self-referrals — signing up or subscribing through your own link, or arranging for others to do so on your behalf.
- Misrepresenting Bookwiz, its features, pricing, or your relationship with us.
- Trademark, copyright, or other intellectual-property infringement.
7. Required disclosure
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Bookwiz wherever you share your link, as required by the FTC and applicable law (for example, “affiliate link” or “I earn a commission”).
8. Changes & termination
We may update these terms, the commission rate, the commission window, or end the program at any time. Material changes apply going forward. Either party may end participation at any time; commissions already earned and payable under these terms will still be paid. We may withhold commissions we reasonably believe were earned in violation of these terms.
